2014 Grand National
This year, Crabbie’s became the proud sponsors of the 2014 Grand National Festival at Aintree. The 3-year deal between Crabbie’s and the renowned racecourse saw the world’s most famous steeplechase run for a purse of £1million for the very first time!
Watched by an audience of around 9 million on Channel 4 and an estimated 600 million people worldwide, the partnership renews the longstanding relationship between Aintree and Halewood International, Crabbie’s parent company. For those who don’t know, Halewood International also owned the Ginger McCain-trained Amberleigh House, who went on to win the 2004 Grand National.
