George is used to running about doing all those little party jobs for Camilla, so who better to ask about those finer details than the man himself.

1. Chairs. You can never have enough. So my top tip is to mix and match everything from those camping chairs hiding in the garage to your finest dining room chairs.

2. Find a good hiding place. When it all gets too much and you need 5 minutes peace, make sure you've got a good place to hide. My shed is the perfect place to sneak off to.

3. Keep your drinks on ice. No one likes a lukewarm Crabbie's, so you'll need a place to keep the ice. Get creative. Buckets, brand new dustbins, the bath! They're all suitable ice vessels.

4. Dancing. At some point in the proceedings you will be asked to dance. You can either use it as a chance to show off your moves or prepare an excuse in advance so you can make a hasty retreat.

5. Have a radio handy. If the party clashes with a big sporting event. Hide a radio in your shed or hiding place so you can keep a track of the score. Just don't let Camilla know!

6. Get the mop. It's inevitable that there will be some spills throughout the day. So keep the mop handy and get plenty of napkins ready for when Camilla shouts 'George can you see to that'.

7. Practice your innocent look. There will be delicious cup cakes and food that you're supposed to leave for the guests. So sneak them when no one is looking but if you perfect your innocent look, your Camilla won't suspect a thing!
